About Marlee Hightower
Marlee Hightower is a 25-year-old dancer, artist, and choreographer from Orlando, Florida. She is the co-owner and artistic director of MOTIV Dance Studio, home to MOTIV Crew (as seen on NBC’s World of Dance). Marlee has worked with major artists like Jazmine Sullivan, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay, and Janet Jackson, as well as top brands like Puma, Coca-Cola, and Universal Studios.
She has been touring with World of Dance since 2011 and has served as a WOD judge since 2018. As a faculty member of Monsters Dance, she has traveled to over 25 countries, teaching and judging at some of the world’s most prestigious competitions, studios, and dance camps.
Marlee specializes in hip-hop foundations, often set to neo-soul or ‘90s hip-hop music. Her goal is always to create movement that feels good and stays true to the culture. Expect a class full of grooves, musicality, and choreography designed to challenge and inspire dancers of all levels.
